Five consecutive lots have been considered ACCEPTABLE on inspection. Tightened Inspection Plan is switched to Normal Inspection plan.
A lot has been REJECTED or production becomes irregular. Reduced Inspection Plan is switched to Normal Inspection plan.
Tightened inspection is implemented as soon as two out of five (or fewer than five) consecutive lots have been non-acceptable on original inspection.
Production is at a steady rate and switching score is ≥ 30. Normal Inspection Plan is switched to Reduced Inspection plan.
Discontinue Inspection and product/service supplier to improve quality until responsible authority believed the corrective actions are believed to be likely effective.
Reduced Plan Gap: If you find between and defective items, ACCEPT the lot, but immediately reinstate Normal Inspection for future lots.
Randomly pull a sample of items from your lot of .
Inspect them completely. If you find or fewer defective items, you ACCEPT the entire lot.
If you find or more defective items, you REJECT the entire lot.
